Sougueur-Hadjret Ennous gas pipeline

In 2005 Stroytransgaz PJSC signed an EPC contract with the Algerian national company SONATRACH to build the Sougueur-Hadjret Ennous gas pipeline. The gas pipeline is the project of national significance, it provides supplies of natural gas to the Hadjret Ennous electric power station in Tipas and to residential areas in the central part of the country.

The STG scope of work included building a 273 km pipeline of 42 inches in diameter with initial and end-point terminals, including a system regulating pressure and measuring gas volume, 12 valve stations and tie-in to compressor station, as well as installation of a SCADA system(data gathering, processing, reflection and archiving), telecommunications, cathodic protection, and instrumentation.

STG also performed design operations, equipment deliveries, construction, testing and preparation of the facility for commercial operations. JSC Stroytransgaz performed designing and procurement operations.

The construction operations on the facility were completed in 2007.
