In 2006 JSC Stroytransgaz concluded EPC contract with LUKOIL JSC for construction of the technological complex for the offshore ice-resistant platform LSP-1. The platform is designed for development of the Yuri Korchagin field in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea.
The scope of work included development of detail design and as-build documentation, delivery of equipment and materials, construction and assembly operations, management of the platform’s operating and technological and energy complexes construction.
The following facilities of the operating and technological complex were constructed:
The weight of the platform is 15,500 tons, its length is 95.5 m, the width is 72.2 m, the height – 90 m. The equipment installed at the LSP-1 is designed for application of “zero discharge” method and it excludes completely the impact on the environment. The total weight of the assembled equipment is 6,000 tons.
In 2009 the LSP-1 platform was installed at the field.
