In 2004 Stroytransgaz PJSC concluded a contract with Naftatrans CJSC for construction of the Kavkazkaya oil transshipment point in Krasnodar Krai. The transshipment point with the capacity of 6 million tons of oil per year is designed for reloading oil from the railway to a pipeline belonging to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
Within the framework of the EPC contract STG performed the following operations:
- construction of the oil transshipment point with a 60-tank-cars railway drainage rack, an oil pumping station, a 60000 m3 tank battery, an artificial lake-vaporizer, and associated infrastructure;
- construction of a 15.7 km oil pipeline tying into the CPC pipeline;
- construction-assembly of a scraper launcher and receiver units of cleaning and diagnostic near the Kropotkin oil pumping station;
- reconstruction of the Getmanovskaya railway station on the Servero-Kavkazkaya rail line;
- construction of a comprehensive system of automobile and rail roads;
- recultivation of 49 ha of agricultural land and improvements of the area.
The operations were completed in 2004.
