In 2004 STG concluded a contract with Tiraspoltransgaz LLC to build the Krasnenkoe-Rashkovo gas pipeline branch on a turnkey basis in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The gas pipeline is designed to supply gas from the Ananev-Chernovtsy-Bogorodchany main pipeline to consumers in the city of Kamenka, Kamensky Region and several residential areas in Rybnitsky Region.

Along with building the 30 km long gas pipeline linear section with diameter of 219 mm, the project scope of work included laying fiber-optical cable for a telemechanical system, assembling radio communications equipment, and constructing two automatic gas distribution stations, the Rashkovo and Vadul-Turkului stations, designed for further gas supplies to Pridnestovie’s northern regions.

The route of the gas pipeline branch traversed hollow-hogbacked areas and crossed 53 natural and man-made obstacles with several deeply cut ravines, water barriers, motor roads, and underground collectors.

The project was completed in 2004.
