Gasification of Russian regions

Stroytransgaz JSC takes part in the implementation of the programs of gas supply and gasification for Russian regions – in November of 2020 the company was chosen the winner of 7 tenders held by Gazprom mezhregiongaz LLC.

The company is building a gas pipeline branch and a gas distribution station in the Invanovo and Sakhalin regions, as well as gas distribution facilities in the Perm territory, the Leningradskaya and Arkhangelsk regions. Their appearance will allow the residents of many communities of the regions to have gas.

The projects will be implemented in 3 stages, i.e. preparatory, main and adjustment works. The following activities will be completed at the end of the preparatory period: geodetic support of construction, earthworks, welding and installation, quality control of welded joints, insulation, laying, pipeline ballasting, crossings under motor roads, gas pipeline crossings through watercourses, pipeline burying, crossings over utilities, gas pipeline cleaning and testing, gas pipeline marking, concreting, corrosion protection of building structures.

In its 30-year history, Stroytransgaz has the wide experience in implementation of oil and gas construction projects. In the period of its activities, Stroytransgaz Group has built and reconstructed over 17,000 km of pipelines. The project portfolio includes the construction of dozens of industrial oil and gas facilities, in particular, oil and gas pipelines, pump stations, gas processing plants, underground gas storages, etc.

*Background information:

The gas supply and gasification programs are being implemented in 67 regions of the Russian Federation. This socially important and large-scale work is being done in cooperation with the Government of the Russian Federation and the regional authorities.

In 2019, the Program of Gasification for the Regions of the Russian Federation of Gazprom PJSC involved 66 constituent entities of Russia, 410 gas supply and gasification facilities were being built, and design and survey were pursued for 537 facilities. 124 facilities about 1.8 thousand km long were completed. Conditions were created for the gasification of 305 inhabited localities.

Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC is building inter-settlement gas pipelines. The construction of street (intra-settlement) distribution networks and the preparation of gas-consuming plants for receiving gas are being ensured by the administrations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation using the funds from all-level treasuries and other sources of finance. The gas supply and gasification development programs for the years 2021-2025 are being currently elaborated.
