It bears reminding that the Bagaevsky Hydroelectric Complex construction is one of the major large-scale infrastructure projects being implemented in the Rostov Region. Almost RUB 31 bln has been allocated to build this facility, which is to be commissioned in 2024. Upon commissioning, this large-scale hydraulic facility will allow for providing the guaranteed navigation depth of about 4 meters, which is a prerequisite for the development of river transportation and supply of potable and technical water to the population.
