The renovated space will accommodate a great variety of hardscape elements: modular gazebos, awnings, various swings, bike racks, benches, etc. At present, the foundation has already been laid for most of them. The hardscape elements will be installed upon delivery, which is expected in autumn. Foundations are being laid for outdoor fitness equipment.

Upon completion of all major works, the site will be subject to landscaping: a lawn and trees – larch, birch and alder – will be planted. It is planned to complete the entire scope of works in Q4 2022. 45 workers and 5 units of machinery are engaged in work daily.

The purpose of the project is to improve and landscape the embankment to create a comfortable urban space allowing for recreation for residents in any season.

Nagayev Bay is the most beautiful place in Magadan and the gateway to the Kolyma Territory. The embankments of the bay are one of the most popular recreation destinations for residents and guests of the city. Therefore, the improvement concept was developed based on the needs and
requirements of residents. The works on this section of the coastal zone of Portovoye Highway will allow for combining a number of public spaces into a single complex. It will make a more comfortable urban environment, improve the quality of recreation and provide for a positive image of the city.
