A detailed informal conversation about the significance of cultural clusters took place in the open air site of Orbita park. Marina Yevsa - the Minister of Culture and National Policy of Kuzbass participated in this discussion and noted that global changes are becoming points of growth, including for culture.

– Clustering matters a lot. Coalition of cross-industry networks gives impetus to the regional development. We can see this using the example of the arts cluster: an educational complex will open very soon, followed by opening of a theater-and-museum complex in 2023. This is necessary to keep young people in the region. Conditions for this are already being created in Kuzbass: Tchaikovsky Central Music School has been operating for two years, the teachers of the Moscow Academy of Choreography have been educating young dancers and ballerinas for a year. Federal experts in the field of creative industries and art space creation were invited today to our discussion platform as speakers, – said Marina Yevsa, the Minister of Culture and National Policy of Kuzbass.

Native of Kemerovo, theatre and film actress, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alena Babenko has also visited the Eurasian Women's Forum, she participated in the discussion on culture clusters and spoke about her work in Moscow Sovremennik Theatre, which will celebrate its 65th anniversary this year.

– There are tiny theatres, there are people who make art on a small patch of space using their own funds, they have no space, they have nothing. I am personally interested in such theatres which we are not familiar with, but which are awarded with the “Golden Mask”. To get to know them we need art spaces, – shared Alena Babenko.

Professor of London Metropolitan University, Doctor in Art Management and Cultural Policy Arthur Gukosyan took part in the discussion as well. He spoke about the current global trend of polycentric urban development.

– Everyone pays serious attention to how the culture develops in the city, and how the city becomes cultural. This is influenced by the construction of educational institutions, sports, cultural facilities, etc., – said Arthur Gukosyan.

Participants and spectators of the discussion were satisfied with its results and expressed confidence that such discussions create a solid foundation for functioning and further development of the cultural cluster, which will soon begin to operate in full force in Kuzbass.

In total, the forum was attended by representatives of 15 countries, including online representatives from seven foreign countries, who participated in the online session.
