Gelendzhik Marina Construction Progress

The largest Russian marina complex is being constructed in Gelendzhik as part of the ‘Development of Russia’s Transport System’ governmental programme. Stroytransgaz Group is the only project contractor.

The former cargo port in the vicinity of Tonkiy Mys (Gelendzhik bay) was fully dismantled at the pre-construction stage, and will be replaced by a state-of-the-art seaport capable of admitting passenger vessels of various classes. Currently, the South quay pier is complete, while the North quay pier is at about 90 % of completion, where driving of tubular sheet piles, upper structure reinforcement and concreting are finished, and the erection of fencing, fenders and utility systems is ongoing.
