Yacht Complex and Passenger Port in Gelendzhik

StroyTransGaz JSC has signed a contract for construction works under the project of onshore and offshore infrastructure development in Gelendzhik. FSUE Rosmorport is the customer under the project. Pursuant to the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 18 August 2018, STG JSC was named as the sole project contractor. The complex facilities will be erected as part of the Government programme ‘Development of Russia’s Transport System’. 

Lenmorniiproekt JSC is the general designer. The list of works envisaged under the project includes full dismantling of the cargo port in the vicinity of Tonkiy Mys (Gelendzhik bay) and erection of a state-of-the-art seaport in its place that will be able to admit passenger vessels of various classes. Furthermore, the project equally provides for the creation of a yacht marina that will admit and serve as a base for at least 200 yachts on a year-round basis. The new yacht complex will be the largest facility of this kind in Russia.

Project execution will give a major boost to the tourist potential of the Black Sea resort and facilitate the development of the coastal region’s sea routes. 

The seaport to be created will ultimately form an integral part of Gelendzhik Marina tourist and recreational area that will comprise hotels, apartment units, a yachting school, a yacht-club, an aqua-thermal complex with year-round indoor and outdoor swimming pools filled with seawater. These facilities are supposed to be completed by 2022.
