Finishing works and installation of internal utilities are being completed at the last three facilities of the Educational Complex in Vladivostok.
All premises in the branch of the Tchaikovsky Central School of Music are being prepared for delivery to users. Classrooms, offices and concert, orchestra and chamber halls have all furniture and equipment. The installation of plumbing and ventilation equipment is also being completed in the corridors of the educational building.

"The final touches are left; to have a test run of the ventilation system, install washbasins on the top floor, mount and check the operation of elevators, and install coat racks in the coatroom at the entrance. Then we will focus on resolving user complaints and we will be ready to deliver all projects in the summer", said Alexander Averyanov, Head of the Construction and Installation Department, STG Vostok LLC.

"We have to, as they say, screw in the light bulb, arrange the furniture and wash the floors at these facilities. Students will move into turnkey rooms with a kitchen, a bed with a mattress and a desk, and teachers will move into rent-free apartments. We will make the facilities a perfect place, there are enough resources and people for this," emphasized the Head of the Construction and Installation Department.
Construction on Russky Island cluster is scheduled to be completed at the end of March, and the largest Cultural and Educational complex in the Far East will be officially launched at the beginning of September. Children from the age of seven will study here, and from the age of 12 they will be able to live in a boarding school.

It is worth noting that the total area of the educational complex on Russky Island is more than 93,000 square meters. It consists of nine buildings, including a branch of P.I. Tchaikovsky Central School of Music, a branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, a comprehensive school, 2 boarding schools for students, a dormitory for students of the branch of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts (RSIPA) and three apartment buildings with rent-free housing for teachers, artists and staff of the complex.
To recap, only four cultural and educational complexes of such scale are built in the country, including three other in Sevastopol, Kaliningrad and Kemerovo. It is an important project both in terms of scale and objectives. 550 new state-funded places will be granted to Primorye art universities.
