JSC STG-Siberia Took Part in Two Social Projects

To commemorate the Builder’s Day, employees of JSC Stroytransgaz-Siberia took part in two socially significant projects at once.

The company employees responded to the call of Rossiyskaya Gazeta. The publication agency has been creating the People’s Libraries’ network in remote villages in Kuzbass for 5 years already.

Residents of Komsomolets Village have asked to create such library this year. 139 people live there on a permanent basis, 30 of them are schoolchildren. Representatives of JSC Stroytransgaz-Siberia supported this project and collected over 100 books for the library.

At the library opening ceremony, local residents said that it actually gave a new life to the rural leisure club: the premise had been renovated as well as the space around it. In total, over 1,500 books were donated: classics, historical novels, science fiction, books and magazines from the do-it-yourself series, a library for schoolchildren and toddlers, etc. At the library opening, the residents noted that people living even in remote settlements now have opportunities for cultural development.

The second project is an occupational photo exhibition “Kuzbass. Building the Future”.  JSC STG-Siberia participates in this project together with other construction companies of the region. The exhibition of photographs related to the construction industry will go on a tour across the region. Students and schoolchildren from the region capital – Kemerovo – will be the first to see it. As part of the exhibition program, some meetings with business representatives will take place. Students and schoolchildren will learn more about construction-related professions, about facilities being under construction in the region, and the  operating companies.
