Three facilities are under construction at the Western site: the Tretyakov Gallery branch, the Bolshoi Theatre branch, and a branch of Russian State Institute of Performing Arts.

The foundation slab concreting has been completed at the site of the Baltic Higher School of Music and Theatre Arts (branch of RGISI) with a total area of 8,900 square meters. 3,600 cubic meters of cement mixture have been already laid. Works on the Improvement of the Adjacent Territory of Residential Houses for the Staff

The main works are performed on the adjacent territory of the residential complex. This is where the landscaping work began. Laying of asphalt, paving slabs, flowerbeds and playgrounds around the buildings have started. Asphalting of the territory is completed by 66%, paving slab laying – 69%.

As part of the complex construction, STG-Zapad LLC contributes to fish resources replenishment in the region.  So, whitefish juveniles were released into the Curonian Lagoon. 7,000 juveniles weighing from 1 to 10 grams each were released into the bay waters. In addition, during the spring spawning period (from April to June), piling is suspended at construction sites of the cultural complex so that vibration and noise during pile driving do not frighten the fish during the breeding season.

1,100 people and 40 pieces of equipment are currently involved in construction projects in Kaliningrad.

Construction of the Cultural and Educational Complex on Oktyabrsky Island in Kaliningrad is carried out by Stroytransgaz Group as commissioned by National Cultural Heritage Foundation for Social and Cultural Projects. The designer is GORKA Group.
