Dignitaries from People's Republic of China Visit STG-Vostok Construction Site

The builders of the cultural and educational complex on the Orlinoye Gnezdo Hill in Vladivostok contribute to strengthening the comprehensive partnership between Russia and China. Side by side, specialists from Stroytransgaz-Vostok and KitaiStroy are building a tremendous facility that will become the centre of attraction and culture spreading throughout the Far East.

An important evidence that the partners from the People's Republic of China take the joint project with the utmost seriousness was the visit to the construction site by a high-ranking delegation of the National People's Congress headed by Chairman of the Standing Committee, member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee Li Zhanshu.

The guest was accompanied by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Alexander Babakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui, Executive Director of the Russian-Chinese Business Council Evgeny Markin.

General Director of STG-Vostok Igor Volkunovich, his colleague from KitayStroy Zhao Xiaojia and Head of the Construction Directorate of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation in Vladivostok Yevgeny Sheremet told Mr. Li Zhanshu about the construction progress and immediate tasks.

Chairman Li Zhanshu inspected the construction site, noted that such a significant facility would contribute to the solid foundation of friendship between the Russian and Chinese peoples, and thanked the builders for their work.

In turn, Executive Director of the RCBC, Evgeny Markin, noted the special role and support provided by the Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Business Council in the implementation of this project.

‘Stroytransgaz and KitaiStroy companies, under the leadership of RCBC Chairman Gennady Nikolaevich Timchenko, are successfully implementing the largest Russian-Chinese construction project. I would like to emphasize that in the face of unprecedented sanctions pressure from unfriendly states, Chinese companies continue to work in the Russian Federation, in particular, in the Primorye. Such support and trust from our Chinese friends is especially valuable to us during these hard times,’ Evgeny Markin said.
