STG Growing the Garden of Memory

Employees of STG-Siberia Took Part in the Garden of Memory Campaign

Structural units of STG Group continue actively participating in the Garden of Memory global campaign. Today, specialists of Stroytransgaz-Siberia JSC headed by General Director Sergey Mariinsky joined the campaign. Inscribed trees were also planted by employees of the Branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography headed by Branch Director Inga Puzyreva.

Two-meter Siberian spruce firs took their place of honour in the memorial alley near the Branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. A memorial stele with names of the campaign participants will be erected here soon. The gardening site was not chosen by chance: 2023 is the year of the 250th Anniversary of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, a resident of the Siberian Cultural and Educational Complex.

Employees of the Kuzbass Botanical Garden took into account all natural factors and wishes of the customers and suggested this particular type of tree for planting: the spruce fir is among the regional landmarks. It is very similar to Siberians: strong, undemanding, adapted to the most severe conditions. The average life expectancy of this green beauty is from 250 to 500 years, so the trees planted today will quite likely celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography.

STG-Siberia JSC is implementing a large-scale career guidance programme together with the garden employees and the Sirius Educational Centre for Gifted Children. Another dedicated shift of STG will be launched on 24 May for the Development of Improvement Options for the Branch of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts in Kemerovo.

The event involves employees from different subdivisions of STG-Siberia. All of them took an active part in the construction of this particular facility.

“We are pleased to join the Garden of Memory global campaign,” commented Sergey Mariinsky. “This is a direct appeal to our historical roots, a tribute to the memory and respect of our ancestors, their noble deed. Moreover, the alley has also become a green gift to the city, already greatly improved with the help of the Siberian Cultural and Educational Complex at the construction stage.”
