Rinat Shigapov: “I’ve supervised these projects and know the construction site”

Working meeting headed by Rinat Shigapov, the new President of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation, was held on Russky Island in Vladivostok. Representatives of Stroytransgaz Group, the Foundation and heads of the branches of the Central Music School - the Academy of Performing Arts and the Academy of Choreography — discussed current issues related to relocation of users to the new buildings of the Cultural and Educational Complex.

“The branch of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Central Music School received a contract for gratuitous use of the buildings and the process of moving has begun. The first to occupy their offices was the school management, and now the entire teaching staff is preparing to move in. The classrooms here are spacious, bright and have sea views,” said Elena Sanzhirovskaya, Deputy Director of Primorye branch of the Central Music School - Academy of Performing Arts.

In the near future, musical instruments will be installed in the Cultural and Educational Complex. In total, there are over 250 of them. These are pianos, grand pianos, cellos, violins, etc. It is important to note that the instruments shall be moved only at certain air temperature from +22 to +24 degrees Celsius and humidity of 45%. Preparation of educational building premises is now underway.

“It's only my third day in the new position. Therefore, first of all, it is important for me to get acquainted with representatives of CTG-Vostok, heads of branches and to check the readiness of the facilities. Previously, as First Deputy General Director of the Tretyakov Gallery, I supervised these facilities and know this construction site. Today there are a few comments from the users, they are not critical and they will be eliminated in the near future. In September of this year, all 9 objects of the complex will be put into operation and the training of children will start,” explained Rinat Shigapov, President of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation.

In September, the educational process will start in the Cultural and Educational Complex. About 550 students from different regions of this country will be able to study here using budget funds.
