Mikhail Balabanov, president of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation, visited the construction site of the cultural and educational complex in Kaliningrad. The main focus of the visit was to discuss the landscaping of the grounds surrounding the Tretyakov Gallery branch building, the construction of which is nearing completion.

Together with Dmitry Rzhannikov, General Director of STG-Zapad, Mikhail Balabanov took part in a meeting at the Government of the Kaliningrad Region. To date, the sides are agreeing on a landscaping project, which required separate attention to the details.

The building's perimeter will be very green, with decorative "hills" between 0.6 and 1.2 meters high. This will add some variety to the flat landscape in the pedestrian zone Trees, shrubs, and flower beds will be planted Hard landscaping accessories will be placed near the museum building. Great attention is paid to disabled people: they will be able to move freely throughout the museum complex. All sidewalks and walkways at least two meters wide have a slope of no more than 5%. Also, information signs will be posted all over the area. Ramps with a lowered curb will be installed at the intersection of pedestrian paths with the roadway.

"After the construction of the Bolshoi Theatre branch and the Baltic Higher School of Music and Dramatic Arts is completed, all the territories adjacent to the buildings will be united with the territory of the museum complex into a single public space," explains Dmitry Rzhannikov, General Director of STG-Zapad. - The landscaping project is general, but will be implemented in stages depending on the completion date of all facilities".
