Mr. Rinat Shigapov, the President of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation, visited the construction sites and commissioned facilities of the Siberian Cultural and Educational Cluster. Executives of the organizations being part of the Complex also took part in the walkdown.

Mr. Sergey Mariinsky, Director General of Stroytransgaz-Siberia, described the preparations for commissioning of the education building of the Higher School of Music and Dramatic Arts (Siberian Campus of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts with the School of Creative Industries).

When examining the branch of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts, Mr. Rinat Shigapov noted: ‘Opening of the Higher School of Music and Dramatic Arts is one of the most anticipated events of the year. It gives me great pleasure to see an almost completed facility, which I knew as far back as the design rendering stage. I think that in the end it turned out to be even more beautiful than planned! Mr. Sergey Tsivilev, Governor of Kuzbass, called it one of the best higher education institutions in the world in one of his speeches. I agree with him completely!’

Mr. Sergey Mariinsky drew the guests’ attention to the fact that the stage to be used by future artists and stage performance support specialists to perfect their skills has the facilities as good as those used in the world’s leading theatres, including a standby equipment set: ‘The students will be able to hone their equipment control skills, to scrutinize the technologies and then to demonstrate their proficiency’.
