A bridge put into operation in the Magadan region

Stroytransgaz signed a commissioning certificate for the repaired bridge over the Detrin River in the Magadan Region. The bridge is repaired as part of the national project "Good Safe Roads" initiated by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.

Bridge overhaul was performed on the Palatka-Kulu-Neksikan public road. When renovating the bridge, STG experts applied innovative methods to reinforce its substructures by injecting special materials under pressure. Due to strong floods and changes in the Detrin River bed, additional work was undertaken to reinforce the right bank with big stones, thus stopping the erosion of the embankment. The abutment cones were replaced and the bridge was painted. New lighting has been installed on the bridge and services have been reinstalled. The roadway has been repaired. The barriers have been replaced and the bridge approaches have been filled. Trees piled up at the mouth of the river were cleared up.

Despite the short period of work due to weather conditions in the Magadan region, when there are severe frosts from November to March and floods in summer, the repair work was completed earlier than planned at the conclusion of the state contract.
