Dmitry Lebedev inspected the construction progress of the Cultural and Educational Complex in Vladivostok

Dmitry Lebedev, General Director of Stroytransgaz, visited the construction site of the Cultural and Educational Complex on Orlinaya Sopka in Vladivostok. Alexey Povalyaev, Deputy Director General for Industrial and Civil Construction at Stroytransgaz, Evgeny Koshelev, Director General of STG Vostok, representatives of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation in Vladivostok, and heads of contractors also took part in the site walkover.

The visit was mainly aimed at inspecting the progress of works on the construction of the Complex and planning of winter activities.

All construction works proceed according to the schedule. Readiness of the facility regarding reinforced concrete cast-in-situ structures is 70%. In total, more than  62,000 cubic meters of concrete have been poured.

When meeting with the heads of contractors, Dmitry Lebedev pointed out that now it is important to elaborate in detail the production schedule for the construction of the thermal circuit, stained glass glazing and the erection of floor span structures.

The cultural and educational complex on the Orlinoe Gnezdo hill consists of three sections: a theater, an institute and a museum. The first tier of the auditorium has been erected in the future branch of the Mariinsky Theatre. Work continues on pouring the cast-in-situ structure  at 33 meters above ground level. In the museum section, the erection of staircase roof elements on a sloping roof with a total area  of more than 1 thousand square meters is being completed.

The total area of the Cultural and Educational Complex on Orlinaya Sopka will be 70 thousand square metres. The following branches will appear in Primorye: the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian State Institute of Stage Arts, the School of Creative Industries, and the second stage of the Mariinsky Theater.

Construction of the Cultural and Education Complex in Vladivostok is underway by Stroytransgaz Group as commissioned by the National Cultural Heritage Foundation for Social and Cultural Projects.
