Stroytransgaz has built a road junction from Rublevsky Proezd to the Moscow Ring Road Access from M-1 Belarus. Pilot traffic was launched in the new exit from the Trekhgorka microdistrict in Odintsovo. The customer is the State Public Institution “Road Construction Administration” controlled by the Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the Moscow Region.

The operating traffic opening ceremony was run by Andrey Vorobiev, Governor of the Moscow Region, and Aleksey Gerzhik, Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure. The length of the new road is 4.1 km. The event was also personally attended by Vladimir Lavlentsev, General Director of JSC Stroytransgaz.

As instructed by Governor Andrey Vorobiev, work began in 2019. The junction will reduce the transit flow in Nemchinovka and Romashkovo. It will provide for exit from Trekhgorka to the Northern bypass of Odintsov and an additional route towards the Moscow Ring Road.

“We are pleased to open yet another road junction on the first business day of the year. This is always a very important issue for the Moscow Region,” said Andrey Vorobiev. “I would like to express my gratitude to the builders for opening this junction a little ahead of schedule. Every solution to the transport problem is strategically important for us. Microdistricts are growing,” added the Governor.

“We opened the operating traffic at the junction in Trekhgorka. These are four kilometres of road, a hundred-meter overpass, two traffic circles. Work on setting up payment points will continue,” said Aleksey Gerzhik.

“We used to spend at least 2 hours to leave the microdistrict,” said Irina Grabarchuk, a resident of Trekhgorka. “But now, fortunately, it will change. We are very grateful for the new junction."

The junction will help drivers to avoid traffic jams on Mozhaiskoe and Minskoe Highways. Previously, drivers had only one opportunity to enter Moscow — along Moskovskaya Street in the village of Nemchinovka, which led to serious traffic jams. Drivers used to lose from 40 minutes to an hour on their way from Trekhgorka to the Moscow Ring Road along Mozhaiskoe and Minskoe Highways. The travel time will now be about ten minutes.
