Rostekhnadzor Issues a Conformity Statement for the Second Stage of Reconstruction of the Dmitrov-Dubna Highway

Rostekhnadzor has issued a statement of conformity to the technical regulations and design documentation for the work performed during the second stage of construction of the Moscow-Dmitrov-Dubna highway.

The final audit by Rostechnadzor specialists lasted for several weeks. Based on its results, a report was issued without comments, which confirms the high quality of the work performed by JSC STG as a general contractor and allows us to commission the completed facilities.

Reconstruction of the A-104 Moscow-Dmitrov-Dubna Highway is included in the federal program for Development of the Russian Transport System (2010–2020).

In the spring of 2020, facilities of the first stage of reconstruction were commissioned – 5.4 km of the constructed and reconstructed highway in two sections, which are separated by the Klyazminskaya Ferry. STG expanded the highway from 4 to 6–10 lanes (3–5 lanes in each direction) there. The highway has become wider due to construction of alternate routes and acceleration lanes, and additional lanes have been added for exits to the adjacent territories. Metal barriers were installed to ensure traffic safety along the entire highway, as well as noise protection screens. A two-level junction with a 108-meter long overpass was constructed, a 24-meter bridge over the Klyazmensky Reservoir was reconstructed, and two sections of the Rogachevskoye Highway were expanded and repaired.

As part of the second stage, JSC STG built internal driveways and exits, local treatment facilities, and a storm collector. Landscaping has been completed on an area of over 25,000 sq.m. For pedestrians, 5 overground pedestrian crossings were built, where 10 elevator platforms were installed for people with limited mobility. An intelligent system called ASUDD (automated traffic control system) was built with information output to the control center, which allows for real-time regulation of the speed mode along the reconstructed section, depending on the road congestion and traffic obstacles.

The route is a continuation of the Dmitrovskoe Highway, which connects Moscow with the Dmitrovsky and Taldomsky Districts, the cities of Dmitrov, Dubna, Taldom. This direction is considered one of the busiest in the Moscow Region, so expansion of the highway in both directions improved the situation, while construction and launch of traffic on the overpass of the junction increased the throughput of the most intense section of the Dmitrovskoe Highway by dividing traffic flows following the directions of Dmitrov and Lobnya. This significantly changed the traffic situation on the highway.
