Meeting of Russian and Chinese Partners in Vladivostok

As instructed by Gennady Timchenko, Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Business Council, active sourcing of a partner for the project to build museum, theatrical, and educational complexes in the Russian cities of Vladivostok, Sevastopol, Kaliningrad, and Kemerovo, is under way.

That was the agenda of a visiting workshop in Vladivostok, Primorsky Territory, held from 9 to 10 February 2021 between representatives of Stroytransgaz, KitaiStroy, and the Russian-Chinese Business Council, as well as the International Cooperation Agency of the Primorsky Territory.

The parties discussed the first stage challenges – mobilization of the Chinese partner’s workforce – during the site tour to the cultural and educational complex in the centre of Vladivostok and on island Russky.

Besides, the representatives of the Russian and Chinese developers discussed the technical aspects of the project resources mobilization and reached an understanding of the next steps to build the facility, during the site tour.

Representatives of the Russian-Chinese Business Council and the International Cooperation Agency of the Primorsky Territory took an active part in the visiting workshop. They pointed out that health-care services for the partner’s employees is a must due to the coronavirus spread.

The Primorsky Territory Government also renders a lot of help and assistance in safety assurance and construction procurement.
