Improvement of Oktyabrsky Avenue in Lubertsy Is in Progress

Active operations are performed as part of Phase 1 of Oktyabrsky Avenue Improvement Project. By now the area has a new look: massive reinforced concrete beams of the future overpass running at the height of a three-story building have appeared in the avenue. The overpass under construction is expected to reduce the traffic load on the crossing, and the residents will not have to waste up to 40 minutes to go over.

Today, the reinforced concrete beams of the superstructure are being installed at the intersection of the Oktyabrsky Avenue and Smirnovskaya Street. Backfilling earthworks are underway in order to arrange an exit ramp. Utility systems are being relocated. This phase of the project is expected to be completed in September. About 50 specialty vehicles and machines and over 390 workers are engaged at the site.

The project for Oktyabrsky avenue reconstruction includes five phases and is implemented as part of measures for road network development and transport accessibility improvement in Lyubertsy.
