"We are driving along Tupolev Street. An important road has been made, the residents are delighted. And the decisions are competent. We continue near Ilyushinskiye passageways to widen the bottlenecks, so that the communication between Zhukovsky and Ramenskoye was unobstructed, and people could move and drive there in comfort. Once it was one of the most terrible roads because the traffic used to stand absolutely still on it. Now nothing stands",  -- said  Andrei Vorobyov.

Tupolev Street is a key link between Zhukovsky and Ramenskoye. Reconstruction was conducted for 5 years The road was widened from 2 to 8 lanes during the works, and a tunnel under Gromov Square with the length of 712 meters and double lanes above the tunnel were built, which adds 2 more lanes on each side.

The absence of traffic lights reduced the travel time along Tupolev St. to 10 minutes. The traffic situation has improved for more than 400 thousand residents.

The street infrastructure was improved. 5 elevated crosswalks with ramps were made to make it more convenient for low-mobility citizens and moms with strollers. Elevators will be installed here by the end of the year.

On December 23, 2022, Dmitry Lebedev, General Director of Stroytransgaz, and Andrey Vorobyev, Governor of the Moscow Region, opened the long-awaited road section, which has led to a significant reduction in travel time and improvement of the traffic situation on Tupolev Street in Zhukovsky.
