Commissioning of the new bridge crossing is planned for 2023.

Additional information

The project execution will improve Perm transport links with other large cities in the north of Perm Krai and will provide possibilities for development of the federal transport corridor of Moscow–Kazan–Perm–Khanty-Mansyisk–Surgut–Tomsk.  Renovation of the existing bridge and construction of a new one will also allow to eliminate traffic jams at the crossing over the Chusovaya river, particularly in the summer cottage season.

After completion of the construction the design traffic speed in the new motorway will reach up to 100 km/h. The expected traffic capacity is 50 thousand vehicles per day. It is planned that the transit across the new bridge will be a toll one.
